Institutional Effectiveness
Universities, large nonprofit organizations, and governmental agencies are being challenged to define their purpose and objectives with greater clarity due to today’s economic landscape, which focuses on outcome driven results. RC assists organizations in demonstrating how well they fulfill their institutional mission.
RC believes that for an institution to truly improve its effectiveness, it must focus on the following items:
- Clarify the mission statement
- Perform Needs Assessment (Provide support for full staff participation in assessment planning, implementation, and reporting of findings)
- Expand institutional objectives (Provide direct services to departments in developing and implementing assessment programs)
- Identify intended outcomes
- Assess the extent to which objectives and intended outcomes are actually being accomplished (Review and offer feedback on current or most dated assessment plans and reports)
