Lori Sykes

Lori Sykes is a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University at Albany and an instructor of Sociology at Hudson Valley Community College.  In addition to her research on wealth and wealth inequality, she also has interests in community development.  She works with community-based organizations and faith-based institutions, in their efforts to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged individuals and families.  She has assisted organizations with state and federal incorporation, grant writing and research, program evaluation, and strategic planning.
